Over a Decade of Experience
Tina Mehr is the founder and principal attorney of Moxie Legal, a law firm dedicated exclusively to protecting worker's rights.
Based in Los Angeles, Tina has helped thousands of employees resolve workplace disputes in a myriad of industries. From negotiating severance agreements to pursuing matters to trial, Tina has the courage, grit and moxie to get the job done.
Born in Tehran, Iran, Tina first discovered the importance of advocating for civil rights as a young girl in her home country. As she tells it, it was her mother that instilled in her a strong sense of justice:
“In the 1980s, during the war between Iran and Iraq, there was a women’s empowerment struggle going on in my country. My mother was a pioneer in that movement. She refused to be treated as a second-class citizen and encouraged me to stand up for my rights."
A proud double Bruin, Tina worked for some of the largest law firms in the world after graduating from UCLA School of Law. Tina quickly learned her heart and mind were not in it for large corporations.
So in 2014, Tina switched sides and joined the plaintiff's bar, dedicating her practice exclusively to protecting the rights of employees. Then, in 2016, Tina founded her own boutique law firm where she devotes time and attention to each case.
